That’s always his excuse … that he’s passionate. Oh, grow up. I will say, however, that the game might have been different if Romo hadn’t underthrown him a couple of times. If Romo could have gotten the ball where it needed to be, Dez would have ended up in the endzone.

My dh thinks I need a 12-step program and wants me to quit listening to this postgame show.

And later in the postgame, a reporter quoted another person as saying that that play wasn’t the first time. Garrett has got to get control of this team, though I expect Garrett to be shown the door after this season.

I like Peyton but I believe his arm strength is shot. I think he will have trouble in the playoffs because of the cold/wind. He is a very smart qb and so far his arm strength has not hurt him but he does not have the zip on the ball like I think he is going to need.

I would like to see him get his second ring but I am not sure he can do it.

Even after this dreadful game, I would not trade Eli for Romo. Eli is having a bad year, but to be fair, it’s partly from playing with a paperbag of a line in front of him, not that he’ll ever make that excuse.

I think talent-wise they are pretty even, but Eli’s got two things Romo doesn’t have…

No Division I football today! That’s outrageous. Given how much these college football players are paid, you would think they would go to work on Saturday instead of being home with their families. Oh wait, they are not paid. How quickly I forget. :)

It looks like Peyton Manning could break another record this Sunday for total number of touchdown passes. Brady holds the record at 50 but Manning has 47 now and will be playing the Texans.

Welker is out until the playoffs. Thank goodness. I would like to see him out for the year to let his brain heal but he’s too important not to play.

Peterson might be back. I am surprised by this one. I watched his reaction after being hit and it looked like he would be out for the season. He is one tough guy.

We’re better ready for football on TV now…used college football games lull today for TV repairs and tune-up. It was sunny all day and Florida temp today was in 80s…we spent most of this morning fixing our TV antenna up on our roof…all ready for college bowl games and NFL broadcasts now. I supervised repair work from the ground!

Youdon’tsay - actually we have, too. D1’s alma mater is currently ranked #2! I’m realistic, though, and know it won’t last; not saying they won’t be doing well by the time March rolls around, but they won’t be undefeated.
