All of us in San Diego are very grateful for that missed field goal!! We’re going to the playoffs after an unbelievable set of events falling into place!

teriwtt-- will you have to deal with some… attitude…tomorrow in Chicagoland? :D

This has to be the best final week ever. So many games with playoff implications being so close! Luckily the team I care about (Seahawks) wasn’t very close so I could enjoy the rest of the games.

Now I’m hoping for Dallas to pull it out since Kitna is there.

Bronco’s Manning is a lock for MVP. He broke the all time passing record for a season and threw more touchdowns in a season than anyone else ever. All that while being 37 years old and with a stiff neck.

I think it will be the Seahawks vs. the Bronco’s in the Superbowl.

Thank god the Packers won. Now it is safe to go to work tomorrow.

I hate Jerry Jones.

I will absolutely be wearing Packers colors tomorrow as I go about my day!

I do kind of feel sorry for my cleaning lady. She’s probably one of the biggest Bears fans I know, and we’re first on her schedule in the morning (and she knows what big Packers fans we are)! It will take everything in me to keep from gloating… I’m sure she is miserable tonight.

In honesty, I don’t think the Packers are strong enough to make it very far in the playoffs, but the fact that they beat the Bears is almost enough satisfaction for me. My distaste for the Bears goes way back to when we moved to the midwest and Ditka was the coach. I suspect my dislike for him parallels youdon’tsays’s feelings for JJ.

It was a good weekend… Syracuse (#2) beat Villanova (#8) and the Packers won in a great game. Interestingly, both games started out horribly for our teams (Syracuse was losing 20-5 before they started their comeback). It’s not very often we get a weekend like that around here! D1 was here for the Syracuse game (went back to Boston last night), and D2 was here for the Packers game (goes back to LA tomorrow). Also, D2’s SO is a HUGE 49ers fan, so next week will be difficult for her.

I think what Kitna is doing, is great.
Go Cowboys!

Too late, ekity.

Are they out?
Go Seahawks.
;)

Packers!

What a great game, terrific last few minutes, and a wonderful way for Rodgers to return. I couldn’t get enough of the fumble/What?Run?/touchdown replay.

Purebred Packers fans here! Never count the Pack out!

Was thrilled to see Aaron rack up at least one win on his comeback. What an crazy game of crazy plays though! That TD on the “still live” play - wow!

Trading in our green and gold temporarily for our MSU green and white for NY’s day, Rose Bowl, but will leave the cheesehead not far away for next Sunday’s game. :)

And what an Eagles game! Much to close for my comfort!

Browns and Vikings fired their coaches. More to come. Tough business.

We were in Santa Monica yesterday, but were keeping an eye on the Chargers game while there. We couldn’t believe how it all fell into place for them yesterday. San Diego is one happy city today!

And the Redskins and the Buccaneers. One of the fired coaches lives in the community where we have our second home. Very nice guy. I imagine he’ll enjoy playing golf year round now.

And, oh my goodness, those Eagles.

San Diego should be counting their lucky stars. The NFL admitted today that the ref made a mistake on the field goal by not calling illegal formation.

The Bucs owners used a double bladed ax today…got rid of both head coach Schiano and general manager Dominik. Starting from scratch in Tampa.

Hallelujah and praise be to baby Zeus… Schwartz is gone!

Here are the division records:

NFC East: 28-36
NFC North: 28-34-2
NFC South: 31-33
NFC West: 42-22
AFC East: 34-30
AFC North: 31-33
AFC South: 24-40
AFC West: 37-27

I am so excited about the Eagles! However, now all the talk about one of the teams in search of a coach taking James Franklin from Vanderbilt is starting so I have to worry about that!
