Are You Ready For Some Football!!!!

Anyone here had trouble finding Velveeta in grocery to make dip for Super Bowl? …I didn’t; I think the reported shortage of Velveeta is baloney!

They still make that?

A local restaurant that made creole & Cajun food that we went to quite a bit closed & reopened as a mexican restaurant. Because 20 of those within a couple miles wasn’t enough.
To add insult to injury, they are apparently Bronco headqtrs going by all the orange and blue banners & balloons all over.

I have never bought Velveeta and I’m not really sure what it is. Why not use real cheese?

Velveeta is real cheese, just mixed with a lot of milk products. It has a distinctive taste (good), and melts perfectly to use as a cheese dip or for nachos. I only get it when I’m making nachos, though, as I prefer sharp cheese. But the tastiest dip is when you combine the Velveeta with spicy salsa, and melt it all together. Yum!

Velveeta ingredients:

Ingredients (13):
Milk, Water, Milk Fat, Whey, Whey Protein Concentrate, Sodium Phosphate, Milk Protein Concentrate, Alginate, Sodium Citrate, Apo-Carotenal Color, Annatto Color, Enzyme(s), Cheese Culture

Yum! Apo-Carotenal Color. That’s a new one to me.

Not too bad if you like spinach:

I’d rather have color from a plant than color from ground up beetles, as was used in Starbucks strawberry frappuccinos:

Ground up bugs sounds better than " natural flavoring" that comes from beaver butts.

Oh jeez, emerald. That’s something I wanted to forget as soon as I read it. Yuck!

Sorry, I have to read the lables very carefully& put back anything that says " natural flavoring"
To get back to football, can someone prescribe Mr Brady an SSRI?
He seems a little depressed. It sounds like a good match up.

Brady has always been like that - he is just not interested in games he is not a part of.

Don’t feel bad for him though, he’ll be sitting on a beach in Costa Rica with his kids and supermodel wife.

More importantly: Team Sanders or Team Rice?

Reasons to love Sherman. One of my favorite players. Watch number 22.

I think this is great.

Do the Seahawks fans have anything to love about their team besides one player?

I think we love everything about our team. It’s just our one player that is in the negative spotlight.

We especially love being the 12th man!!! Couldn’t you tell?

DH and I love the Seahawks because they are a bunch of kids who just love playing the game and enjoy interacting with the fans. When they made Wilson, a third round draft choice rookie, the starting quarterback in 2012 over the previous year’s starter and the new free agent, we knew that this was going to be an interesting ride… and we haven’t been disappointed!

Not to be negative, but didn’t y’all totally steal that phrase from Texas A & M, who started that tradition in the 1920’s? That term is so strongly associated with A & M that I’m surprised any pro team would use it without inviting comment.

That’s something refreshing and nice to hear about the team. :)

The Seahawks were sued by TAMU over its usage, as a result the Seahawks pay a licensing fee to TAMU to use it.
