Are you ready for some football?

It’s his left calf, so he doesn’t have to push off it to pass. So if he can get around at all, he’ll be back. He’ll probably get a shot for the pain.

The alternatives are ugly, and GB really needs the bye.

I’m more concerned that it was a relatively minor injury that just became a major injury, such as tearing his gastroc. Was it already weakened due to the strain, and we just watched it get torn? If it’s torn, he’s out for the rest of the season, no matter how much longer they continue.

I retract my concern. Just seeing him get up on his toes in the tunnel makes me believe it’s not a torn gastroc.

tie game here . . . I am ready for some offense!

They did it! It wasn’t pretty but 20-6 is a win for the NFC championship repeat and home field advantage

Was not expecting a 34-3 blowout for the NFC South Division crown. Ouch. Just ouch

That was amazingly low class for Suh to step on Rodgers’ ankle on purpose. I get the grabbing and whatnot at the bottom of a pile but that is just so in your face dirty.

Beat me right to the punch @saintfan‌ . When will he learn???

While obviously not a Suh fan (and I know there have been discussions ad nauseum on CC about why the NFL allows him to remain), I do think the first step was not intentional, but as long as he was in the area of Rodgers leg, I do believe the second step was intentional. But he was not called for anything; will see if the league reviews it and fines him, but I doubt it.

Hmmm . . . Detroit vs Dallas - The O line had better have Romo’s back (literally) because those dirty players will be coming after him.

Oops . . . too late to edit but I should have said NFC WEST champions - not intending to put the cart before the horse

:)>-

The seedings seem weird with the Panthers and Cardinals ahead of the Lions

Carolina will beat Arizona, who cannot get out of their own way offensively.

I don’t think Detroit can win on the road against Dallas, the Cowboys may be the NFC’s most balanced team right now.

I can’t see Carolina beating Seattle, and Dallas/Green Bay is too close to call. Either Seattle/Dallas or Seattle/Green Bay could be epic as the NFC championship.

AFC north is the big winner of the debacle that is the NFC south, with 3 teams making the playoffs. I think the Ravens will be one and done. The Colts won’t last too long either, they can’t beat the good teams. I think it’s going to be NE/Denver in the championship (Brady/Manning 35 yawn) but I don’t know if either can beat Seattle.

If someone in the NFC can pull the upset, we could actually have an interesting Super Bowl.

^That was great @notrichenough‌ and I would be honestly surprised if it does not shape up that way. But we are in playoff season  …anything can happen lol

Well that was an exciting game.
We watched it in a rural pub owned by an Irishman who is new to American rules football.
It was pretty cute.

Oh yeah, Superbowl, here we come!

So when did ESPN get a stake in playoff games?..

Just an observation

That sounds like a good time no matter what happens on the field. :)

Where are the Steeler fans?

This is the first year ESPN gets playoff games. I think NBC gets more this year too.
