loser
I highly doubt that. Maybe you are the loser

Wow, this is pathetic. I refuse to degrade myself to engaging in a name calling match with you on CC.

Listen, just don’t come around here if you have a problem with me or the thread, okay? okay.

Now you know how I felt responding to your mularky (sorry if it’s incorrectly spelled, it’s a word I hear white people love to use)

Life is pathetic. I was just trying to poke a little fun. Don’t take things seriously

haha umm okay. you didn’t offend me. just don’t be such a jerk.

at least not all the time…

Ok, heres a serious question for you girl,

If you had the choice of going to a school thats like 10-20 on USnews with no FA, or your state public school full ride honors college which should you choose, provied that your family can afford the good school, but you get the money if you go for free?

Dear Mike,
Yes, that would be right, I’m a girl.
Hm, this sounds eerily similar to a conflict I faced a few months ago. In my opinon, I would go for the better school. Ultimately, however, it will depend on what YOU do, not on what your school does. Do not bank on a successful future just because of a name. Life does not work that way, you see. In the end, I think a better school will provide you with more opportunities, provided it is especially prestigious in your area of concentration. Also, do not allow your opinion of this school to be based solely on its rank according to USNews. Explore both schools.

Sincerely,
Bend

So how much do these universities really check about the school yu went to. It can’t be that much because alot of people wouldnt have the oppurtunity. I don’t know how it odes in the US

what does your moniker mean?

Dear 311Griff,
I assume you’re question was addressed to me.
It’s a private joke betweem me and me.

Sincerely,
Bendy

Alright for all the Advice columnists that spawned from the one I started…
I currently have 16 schools on my list

5 reaches - HYPM & Williams
7matches - UofC, Rice, NW, CMU, CMC, HMC, & Cornell
4 safeties (I like honors programs) - Umich, Upitt, PSU, and the double legacy of Rutgers.

I have a very hard time eliminating schools because I feel I’m very adaptable to many kinds of climates, and all have good econ or/and math programs.

Everyone says 16 is way too many, so how can I narrow my focus? Money is not an issue, I wont have loans, I could just have the 100,000 my parents saved for me as a down payment on a house or something If I go for free.

I have a question, you say you are an uninformed American, for instance you didn’t know what was going on in the Ethopia conflict in Africa, but you are applying to Harvard?

I’ll learn, but someone has to teach me.

Oh, well, what better place to start than engaging in mind-numbing arguments with other uninformed people on CC?

How about at an old folks home?

Um, no. Maybe try picking up a newspaper, preferably a good one.

How can I engage in mind numbing arguments with a newspaper?

It’s possible, trust me.

it’s true what the thread title says, by the way.
