Mike- Do you recommend spark noting more than reading the actual text. I try to read most of the reading, but I seem to just skip over the symbolism and meanings of the writings. Since I normally don’t pick up everything from the reading, I normally don’t do so hot on the essays. I am not sure if it is because I am a bad writer or if it is because I just don’t recognize important parts. Others have suggested that I drop the class since it is supposedly the hardest class in the school, but I never really considered myself a quitter, and I figure it will look good for college that I am taking this rigorous class.

O yeah, I can totally relate. My classmate would be like o haha I’m a better person than you because I got 20 points higher on the SAT (2140 v 2120). But now I’m ahead by 20 points so he doesn’t say **** to me(2260 v 2240). Maybe if you feel like showing people up, take some SATIIs kick some major ass.

Yeah dank, dont drop that class. I always try to read all the books in english. I sparknote when I get confused or there is some terrible colloquail language. If essays are you problem, you should try to make up a template to go by. Ex.
