<p>futureholds - epgy is a stanford based program that allows motivated and acomplished individuals to further their academic pursuits. In a nutshell, (which btw is one strange metaphor meaning to sum up) epgy is an application of program learning, where a student independently learns a topic until 90% proficency and then moves on to the next, more advanced topic. This is commonly used to get a course out of the way. For example, one can skip a grade in mathematics by participating in an epgy program, where they learn a chapter until they have passed the test with a 90%, if they fail to reach this goal, they re-take the chapter until they do so. If one can finish chapters quickly, they can advance thier knowledge at a faster rate than thier peers. There are numerous classes ranging from alegebra II to differential equation, to AP level sciences and comp sci available. </p>
