<p>ok-- an email is going to go around (if I have your email address!!!) to include name, contact info, etc. Please, for those of you coming, if you are comfortable sharing your info, fill in your info and email it back to me. When I have everyones info, I’ll send out a group email to all attendees with the completed contact info. I am hearing mixed things about Saturday’s weather, so it would be helpful to have a way to reach each other.

I will be at work til Thurs. midday. Will bring h’s laptop and we may try to go to Starbucks sometime Friday. Also, my dad has dial-up at the house, but it isnt too reliable. If it is working and if the dinosaur computer is working, I’ll be checking it periodically when I am there.</p>
<p>Hi mythmom, understand that you are teaching on Saturday a.m. Does this mean you would leave from Suffolk (far out) maybe 11:30 a.m. ish? If we pushed back the meet-up in GCT to something like 1 p.m. 'ish, would that help you? jym is going to have limited computer access once she is traveling, so she’d like the rest of us to figure out ASAP if we can pull this off while trying to accommodate the many.</p>
<p>1:00 would help definitely. I’ll get there as soon as I can. I can leave at 11:30 but can’t guarantee I can make it in an hour and a half. I can sure try.</p>

<p>mythmom, in looking at the train schedules, realistically it will be close to 1:15 p.m. before a number of us will be at Junior’s. I am the one who is messing up the original later meeting time, so I am certainly willing to compromise the two times and I will just leave when I need to. 
We are now waiting on LIMomof2 who hopefully will be able to deal with her childcare matters and join us.</p>
<p>After lots of PM’s and emails, jym626 thought it would be wise to make a general posting about Saturday’s “meet up.” We are set to meet at Grand Central Terminal, lower level Food Court, at “Junior’s.” The timing is set for 1-1:15 p.m., trying to accommodate everyone’s drive/train schedule. Wear black sweatshirt/sweater/shirt, if possible. I’ll try to remember to see if I have name tags and will wear one to start. I don’t mind embarrassing myself walking through GCT. 
RSVP so that we get a sense of how large a table we will require. Looking forward to it!</p>

<p>LOL at the thong. I could be enterprising and put CC logo on a sheet of labels for nametags. I did it once when our neighborhood was protesting an illthought development.</p>

<p>I’m not as regular a poster as most of you, but I wish I could come to the party. I feel like I know jym because she shares a birthday with my mom, and I remember her brave after-prom party…how nice to see that the young man who was a junior attending his prom just a few months ago has received such a great scholarship!</p>
