So any word if they are actually coming out today?
There has been no confirmation that I have read. Some mentioned 6pm EDT, so that is when we will likely know if it is this week or next.
My son just asked his advisor if he could give us a timeframe as itâs a really long drive from CT to get denied ! Will keep u all posted if he gets any info
My daughter used the common app and listed all her ECs, but her advisor also asked for a resume. I was confused. Another one of those unspoken rules â nothing is ever âoptional.â
Very similar stats and also OOS and got War Eagle invite in Sept but just signed up now for the new date in Nov.
My daughterâs GPA just showed up in the portal.
My sonâs GPA just showed up! It is his full weighted GPA (at 3:25pm on Friday, October 10th for those looking for clues next year).
Remind me was that positive in the years past?
Same. A bit lower than what is on his transcript but know they have their own formula.
Means decisions could very well be at 6pm est tonight
I love your note about clues for next year!!!
Same, do you know what can cause the drop?
Also let me add that they infact their calculations add weight to honors classes. It says online that they only weigh APâs and Dual enrollment classes but my school weights honors classes and I have the same GPA in my portal and HS transcript. Hope this helps anyone confussed.
My gpa is the same, 3.71. 3.7, 27, in state. LET ME IN!
Not the case here. My daughterâs honors classes were not included, only AP. So confusing, but she only has 1 B in HS, so still a strong GPA even after recalculation.
I see the issue. They use the total weighted GPA and not the academic weighted GPA. That gym class may come back to bite my daughter!
Where do you see it? We checked this morning and only thing we see is ACT
D26 GPA is there. Itâs lower than what is on her transcript (4.4/4.5) and our school only weights AP and IB . No idea why⊠just hoping itâs tonight and not next week.
On pins and needles here. D26 has no clue it might be soon and made plans to hang with her friend. But I also donât want to tell her and stress her out. But want her to find out with us. Lord this is ridiculous!
My son was terrific at getting Bs in honors classes his freshman year. So, it is GREAT to see they gave him his full weighted GPA! I was reeeeeally nervous about whether there would be a big dip (UTK recalculated his 3.9 to a 3.65). Hopefully, his 31 ACT will make up for it!
