Auburn Early Action Class of 2030 Official Thread

LOL we can go crazy together- they likely have many of the same schools on their list. Clemson? There is a always a “button or no button” conversation in the portal astrology as that decision draws near  PS- I am a nurse too

3.7, so theoretically I am only 1 point off a merit scholarship. You would think that would qualify for admission…

How do they notify you? Just an email?

I think they email you that your application has an update or something like that.

Yes an email goes out that says there has been an update to their portal

With Clemson and my oldest son back in 2020, they used to time the mailing of acceptance packages with their portal updates, or they were just mailing back then. Someone recommended getting the USPS Informed Delivery notifications from the US Postal service so you can see if it’ll be showing up in that day’s mail. LOL. I’ll be the first to admit, I need more hobbies!!!

The nerves! I’m not sure if it’s worse for me as the parent or my son!

This is so funny to me! My daughter received OU admission a month ago and I was shocked when the next morning she had a box from OU on the door mat. I need to sign up for informed delivery ASAP.

It is actually really nice to have, though the daily emails are annoying. But I love knowing what is coming that day, especially if it is something I need a neighbor to grab if we are away or something.

So will my GPA pop up when it is about to come out? Still nothing.

My kid has similar stats and is hoping for EE. Also OOS with 3.78 uw / 4.27 w and 1460 SAT. Here’s to both kiddos being accepted!

We did not get this email asking for activities but I saw it as an optional form On the application. She had already submitted her resume. I hope that’s not a bad sign that she wasn’t asked for it.

I doubt it is a bad sign- I feel like it was totally redundant and honestly just confused my D26 since she had already uploaded her resume.

No email request for activities (that I am aware of) and she didn’t submit a resume. Not sure that anything would be different than activities anyway. Did she miss something? Do I add this to my growing list of things to worry about?

No need to worry at all! We are all on this sinking ship together. Sometimes I think different things are sent out based on majors as well.

Only the people who applied VIA Auburn website got the email id assume. They didn’t orginally ask for activitys on the application and there was no place to input them untill the link was sent.

I believe this is right. My daughter chose to apply via their website because her CommonApp essay wasn’t completed yet and that is when they requested her activities list.
