Hey there! Current Auburn parent here. These Class specific pages are ok, but be aware that they are not moderated by Auburn parents or even people that are Auburn fans. They are typically started by people trying to sell fake Auburn gear and tshirts.

Has anyone been able to pay a housing deposit yet? She just confirmed her enrollment and it seems she can;t do anything related to housing until November 5. Can anyone confirm?

Yes that is how I read it. Also we will be given a time to register for housing on the 5th- all done by lottery.
I just called Housing and she confirmed that “there is nothing to do now”. I specifically asked if there is a way to pay the housing deposit prior to 11/5 and she said no. She did say for them to check email frequently for any updates. This is definitely a bit different than two years ago. Praying it is not as stressful.

So funny because I just got off the phone with Admissions to ask about this and make sure we have done all that we need to do at this point.

Have any of the students recieved anything in their Auburn email yet with the housing time stamp on it for Nov 5th?
Can someone explain to me what exactly we are waiting for in the email?
I know “housing registration” opens on 11/5. So what comes in the email?
What exactly happens on that Nov 5th besides pay the fee?
I know the kids are given “time slots” for housing selection- but when does housing selection happen? When are the earliest lottery slots?

My friends daughter just got in EA 2!!! They must be rolling out notifications now. Tell your EA 2 kids to check portals.

Camp War Eagle is Auburn’s orientation program for incoming freshmen and their families. Your enrollment deposit must be received to register for Camp War Eagle (CWE). The First Year Experience Office will mail registration information to students who have submitted their enrollment deposit. CWE registration is expected to open in mid-March. They typically run 9 sessions between May and mid-July. They are usually either a Monday/Tuesday or a Thursday/Friday. If you have a son who’s interested in rushing a fraternity he should plan to stay the weekend either before or Monday/Tuesday session or weekend after a Thursday/Friday session to go to fraternity parties and network.

When my son was admitted for fall 2024 there was an invite sometime in February I believe. He didn’t attend b/c he did his own visit at the end of January.
