Auburn University – Early Action for Class of 2031 Official Thread

In state decisions come out a week before out of state so likely in state is this Friday and OOS next week

Auburn releases the in-state and out-of-state decisions at the same time, so there isn’t a week’s difference between the two. There’s so much information floating around about admissions timing, it’s easy for things to get mixed up!

Are there any signs on release date being tomorrow or next Friday?

My son was not able to click in to open his app today (he was yesterday). Could mean nothing :joy:

I have heard in the past that decisions have been released the second Friday of the month which would be tomorrow so I think it may be possible

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Nothing yet. Hoping still tonight

Nothing for either of my kids. Guess it’s next Friday.

My son applied OOS 4.1 weighted GPA and 1330 SAT. His private HS doesn’t rank students. Is there a way to see how Auburn recalculated his rank?

Per Auburn’s Common Data Set, the university does not consider class rank. Below is from 2025.

My daughter is OOS and has an 1270 SAT and a 4.4 weighted GPA. Her extracurriculars look good but i’m worried about her test score and being OOS will cause her to be deferred, and it’s her #1. Any parents going through the same thing? She should be in the first round EA

Same here. My daughter has 1350 SAT, 4.67/4.0 GPA, top 2% with good ECs and I am worried. We did not receive a Parent Panel Webinar invite. Auburn is not her top pick, but I know we will be extremely stressed going forward for all of her applications if she is deferred by Auburn.

I think her stats are well within middle 50% OOS and maybe higher. She should be good. This is so stressful. Good luck!

I think her stats are in the middle 50% or close. She may not get in EA1 but I think she will get in based on prior admissions but I don’t think any OOS students are for sure admitted until it happens. Depends on major as well. Good luck!
