We had those options before acceptance and after acceptance - nothing changed.
We are from OOS and my twins are freshman at Auburn. As long as your student has a 3.5 or above then the merit money will be awarded based on test score. This chart is what we were awarded and it looks like the same as what was offered last year. Congrats to all!

How do you know what major your kid got accepted for? I don’t see it on the acceptance letter.
They do not list it. Auburn allows students to change majors at any point leading up to and during Camp War Eagle (CWE) which is their summer orientation program. If your student does not make any changes before CWE, then they will be separated into their “college” the second day of orientation to register for classes that correspond with their major. If they DO intend to make a change to their major, there is a deadline by a certain time on the first day of CWE- it is very easy to do.
Does anyone know when merit aid is communicated?
I believe it is also named on your deposit acknowledgement letter once you pay that.
