Thank you. This is definitely encouraging!
I think War Eagle Day is a marketing tool. Earlier in the thread it was discussed. Mine also received the invite and was deferred.
Just an FYI for others reading this. Auburn requires official score reports from the testing agency. They will not accept self-reported scores through Common App. If you donât send an official score report and apply under the âuse scoresâ plan, your application will be considered incomplete until your official scores arrive.
Stats you posted look great. Based on the charts we saw earlier in the thread, I think your daughter will be fine. My son was accepted with lower stats.
@PaulSingh I agree with l ljs1. Your daughterâs stats are high and a great test score!! I think sheâll be admitted based on previous stats shared in this thread. Best of luck!
S25 was admitted in EA round 1 (yay!) but I have no idea what to do next. I know the housing portal and scholarships open on 11/4 but I donât understand the next steps there. Can anyone help out a mom whoâs overwhelmed?

Applied for EA2
We had a similar situation: S25 applied at the end of August but didnât realize the SAT scores needed to come directly from College Board, so his application was completed late (9/25) for the EA1 deadline.
But we had a pleasant surprise in the Auburn portal later than the original first round of applicants, in that S25 got an acceptance on 10/17. If your daughter hasnât checked the portal in a while, you might want to have her do that just in case she had a similar situation. Good luck!
For those of you who got accepted EA1, have your student check their email. My son just got his housing time slot.
Iâm getting confused. My son is EA1. We have a time slot for November 15th. How does this affect the time slot that comes next to actually pick rooms? Do people with earlier times get to choose first at next time or is it another lottery?
When do we pay the housing deposit? Is it during that time?
The date/timestamp of your submitted application (this November step) determines the date you get to pick your room in March.
Yes. I believe you sign up for housing with the application during your time slot and pay the $100 fee. Then in March you will be assigned a slot for actually choosing your housing. You have the pay the admission fee before you will get a slot to choose your room.
I would guess the earlier times are reserved for those students who are already on campus. They would get first choice to stay on campus. My other son is at UF and that is how it works there. But there are more rounds of EA and those students will also be assigned slots that are later. Hence why not all freshman get housing.
So if you are EA1 with a time slot on 11/15 (housing app opens on 11/06) do you have a decent chance of getting 190 or south Donahue as a boy?
Renewals applications were 10/14-15 according to the Housing website.
For those of you that applied at the beginning of August, what time slot times did you get?
Applied first day and got 11/15-it is a lottery
He doesnât have an email yet. I guess they come out in batches!
Is he accepted?
