Destination Auburn is not by invitation. If you are admitted, you can sign up.
Interesting. Our Admission Advisor had an IG post that noted âthese events are by invitation only to admitted high school seniors. Students will be invited to either Destination Auburn OR TALONS.â So, we signed up for Destination Auburn in April as a backup, but are hoping this was not accurate.
We received it this afternoon too. Registration complete. Looking forward to seeing the campus and touring the b school.
We had the same thing happen. I would suggest emailing housing to ask them to confirm the date you completed the housing agreement.
For those with students considering Honors, I just saw this on the HC Facebook page. Honors housing is a great âperkâ of being in the HC and really puts them in a great position to get on campus housing.
This is a reminder that students should acknowledge their Honors offer of admission by this Saturday, March 1, in order to be added to the Honors special-interest housing population. Students can acknowledge their offer by visiting https://aub.ie/honorsoffer
We will work with the University Housing Office to add these students to the special-interest population. This will allow them to identify potential Honors roommates and select from Honors beds in Broun and Matthews Halls during their room selection timeslot. As a reminder, the entire roommate group must be a part of the special-interest population to live in Honors housing.
Please contact the recruitment team at hcadmit@auburn.edu with any questions leading up to March 1.
Not us
I know it says early March but do we actually know when decisions are coming out? Will deferred decisions release earlier?
Checked last yearâs thread and saw several anxious people waiting until Friday, March 8 for EA deferred decisions. If that pattern repeats, it would be another week from this Friday on March 7.
OOS deferred. 31 ACT fwiw - so medium stat?
Only had one âsubmittedâ during EA decisions which was the bad thing to have.
Now have: awaitingdecision submitted (which used to only say âAwaiting decisionâ).
Back door portal has âsubmittedâ
Also have âNetwork User Name: (blank) on the back door portal.
Got burned the first time around bc the one submitted initially seemed good until other people started having 2 submitteds!
Aghhh. I think Auburn has moved into first place anyway!
Wrong thread sorry!
lol. I was going to say âwrong threadâ⊠but thatâs great Auburn is first! I have a freshmen at Auburn and he is super happy there! I love Auburn!
What/where is the back door portal? And where do you find âNetwork User Nameâ? On the main portal login (son also applied EA and deferred) he doesnât think anything has changed.
My next post said that this didnât relate to this thread. Iâm sorry! Not applicable for Auburn!
They posted this on the wrong thread. Itâs a topic on Univ of SC.
Any idea when EA deferred decisions will come out?
I just got mine now - weird time of the day - denied - 4.3 GPA mid year grades all Aâs so no downward trend - just dont get itâŠ
Best of luck to others
Iâm sorry - that is not fair. Best of luck to you!
who knows what they are looking for⊠but it is just odd - it was literally like I submitted my midyear grades and then a rejection came a day later. at 1030pm⊠if they went down, okay I see that - but straight As and AP classes? Its like they had their decision to reject already and the mid year clearly wasnât going to matterâŠ
so much for a holistic review. oh well
I hope you have better luck and get news!
Kind of disappointed in auburn tbh ⊠they have a section âwhy was I deniedâ and when you click it simply this box comes up -which I think is a little rough anyway but I fall into the Accept with the GPA and my SAT were well above the deny range. I also have many friends who were accepted EA that did not fit into the accepted range (OOS for us all) - was my first choice tooâŠ
