Just recently i noticed that my screen view has changed. I can no longer hit the browser back button (it’s not there…nor is the space where you see the website address of the page you are on) to go back a page in a forum. I have to hit the CC back arrow at the bottom of the page, and it’s slow and not very responsive. Anyone else having this issue?
On my iPad mini, the screen view is pretty much the same as it’s been for a while–the back and forward buttons are still at the top of the screen near the website address is (upper left).
On my iPad, my address and back button will disappear when I scroll down. But I just have to tap The top of the screen and then it appears again.
I googled your problem and found others who have had the same issue. There were a few different fixes depending on what happened. Whenever I have any problems I start by going to safari and clearing the history and cache. Then I just shut it down and let it reboot just for starters.
Worst case: restart.
Still no Answers…tried restart, cleared history etc. weird that the no address bar thing is unique to THIS site only. And another glitch…I have to log in every time I come back. By logging in, I mean hitting the login button only…I don’t need to actually type in my username/password.
Wonderful hubby solved the mystery! Turns out awhile ago I wiped my iPad and when I reloaded it, I added the CC App. Previously, I had been using the bookmarked page. I dumped the APP, and re-bookmarked the page and VOILA! My address bar is back, and all is again right in my world.
