Barnard Class of 2025 — Decision Date: Mar 31

I would email/call the financial aid office, for sure (if you haven’t already)! I’m not sure about W-2s because I don’t have any, however the FASFA may not be marked as received because they don’t have your SSN. I know for me I forgot to put my SSN on my common app, so Barnard emailed me a link to submit to them once I got my portal. That’s just a possibility. Regardless, make sure you are in contact with them – they should be understanding.

I had a whole issue with submitting W-2 forms because apparently something was wrong with my mother’s tax returns so she had to write a letter and get it notarized. You just have to keep on nagging the Financial Aid Office personnel into giving you a definite response because they often just say something’s missing and don’t tell you what you need. For the W-2s maybe try re-uploading your 2019 tax return and email them right after, they should respond to your email if the document wasn’t uploaded properly or if you are missing additional documents.

hey sorry!! are any more likely letters coming out for this admissions cycle? If not, if having not received one does that mean you were rejected

I don’t know if any more likely letters will be sent. You have not been rejected if you didn’t receive one. You’re still in the RD pool .

What does still in the RD pool mean? Is that a good thing? I’m trying not to get too anxious, and my gc still won’t send my mid year reports which is so so frustrating:( so that maybe part of the reason (if I was ever eligible for a letter, of course.)

RD is regular decision. If you didn’t apply early decision (ED) then you are in the pool of applicants that will receive your decision in March. Likely letters are pretty rare so while it’s great if you’re fortunate enough to receive one, most applicants won’t and around a thousand will receive acceptance letters so don’t lose hope!

Hopefully your GC will send in the report soon. Maybe send her an email respectfully asking if she’s had an opportunity to send it yet.

Hang in there!

Thank you for your input and help!

Are all applicants eligible to receive a likely letter, or is it just for ED students who got deferred?

Everyone but they’re rly uncommon. Most people that will ultimately be accepted won’t get a likely letter. If everyone they plan to accept received a letter, then there would be no need for a decision day.

My portal says that my mid-year grades were “waived”, but from what they remember, they were previously marked received, and I just confirmed w my gc that she sent them in. Anyone knows why that would be?

mine still comes up as received… maybe contact your ao or call the admissions office?

Does an interview with a professor mean much?

hey guys, did any of you get an interview for the HEOP program? I was wondering how the interview goes and what type of questions they ask. Congratulations to those who got a likely letter!

anyone know when regular is predicted to come out?

Last year, I think it was March 20, so I would think sometime late next week/next weekend

I’m not sure if it means anything, but on the CSS it says march 22

awesome hopefully thats true, I didn’t fill out the CSS so I didn’t see that!

Does anyone know of any early indicators of an acceptance, waitlist, rejection from previous years?
