<p>What is the world’s best national anthem, in your opinion? Be sure to link to it on Youtube.</p>

<p>Umm, the Star Spangled Banner was a poem that was set to a British drinking song. The music is okay, but clearly not that impressive.</p>

<p>La Marseillaise. There’s no competition in terms of historical significance, and let’s face it: it’s just fun to sing (also, the beautiful juxtaposition of French and military victory!).</p>

<p>Nobody even sings along to the US anthem. That’s the point of an anthem in the first place, to get the entire crowd to sing along, not just stand there.</p>

<p>EDIT: They also sing to the Canadian national anthem too when it is played lol.</p>
