Bicycles?

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>Quick question: how practical is it to use a bicycle as a primary means of transportation? I know Buffalo winters can get cold, but what about other times of the year? I’ll be heading to UB from Singapore next spring, and will probably be living near the north campus, where I expect most (or all) of my classses to be, and I’d consider anything under 30-45 mins by bicycle to be a reasonable distance. Also, what about storage and safety? </p>

<p>If you live at Sweethome or the Villas, anywhere on north campus should be less than a 10 minute bike ride.</p>

<p>There are quite a few bike racks to lock bikes to on campus.</p>
