Binge watched tv shows (Part 1)

I think you have your 70s ABC miniseries lead actors confused.

Richard Chamberlain was the lead in the Thorn Birds.

Peter Strauss was the “Rich Man” actor.

I had never thought of it that way but I LOVE Slow Horses so you’re obviously on to something :exploding_head:

OMG you are so correct - had a crush on him too and forgot about the Thornbirds. Man, those were dome great miiniseries!

It has a sweet charm to it!

I like “Slow Horses” (and my husband loves it). We need to get back to watch the newest season.

I just found a new show in the same vein (not as “dark” as Slow Horses but not unlike Suits, Necessary Roughness- thanks for reminding me of the title! - White Collar…) . It’s called Elsbeth, CBS on Thursdays!

If you have time to spare, check out Chelsea Detective on Acorn.
Yes, it is another British police crime show. We like it.

Two seasons so far.

Thanks! Will do and report

My husband is watch that right now. I had a few laughs and then got on CC instead

Have you watched The Good Wife or The Good Fight? She was a recurring character on those shows, both of which I loved. I can’t wait to watch the new show starring her very quirky character!

I’ll check out Dr Cha. I like Attorney Woo!

I watched. It shows promise. I loved the character on The Good Wife and The Good Fight. I wonder if anyone from those shows will make a cameo? They did mention Cary Argos twice.

One caveat - due to the State of the Union and NCAA tournament, the next episode is 4/4

If you like Attorney Woo have you seen the same actress on Castaway Diva? Such different characters but I enjoyed both shows.

The second season of The Tourist is now on Netflix. We watched 2 episodes last night. I think it’s even better than the first season. Lots of plot twists and a fair amount of humor. H and I were laughing out loud at some points.

For those who like travel and/or food shows, the 7th season of Somebody Feed Phil dropped yesterday on Netflix. First two episodes are great, as usual. Phil is just so likable.

Good to know about The Tourist. We were going to skip the 2nd season, as I thought it was weird at the end of last.

I just watched episode 1 (pilot) of So Help Me Todd (Paramount+). A little cutesy but promising. Very easy watching.

I like So Help Me Todd a lot. The legal bits are simplistic, but okay. I actually think it gets better as the (first) season goes on.

Thurs on CBS is now my favorite, and I was so mad that a friend called right at the start of ‘Todd’ and then I missed most of Elsbeth too.

So who do you think will get married? I thought the marriages were this week but I guess I read the schedule wrong. One of the break ups was a surprise but the other I totally expected.
