We felt the same way about the latest season of Lupin----Paris itself is as much one of the characters as those played by the actors.
Re-watched season one of The Rings of Power to get reacquainted with all of the characters. Loved the season 2 premiere!
Weāre not enjoying this season of Emily in Paris as much as the earlier ones. It seems kind of heavy and serious. Not much lightheartedness! But we love seeing the Parisian scenes.
And ridiculously too short!
That was part 1. Part 2 is released September 12
Oh!!!
Didnāt know that.
Thatās exactly how we feel about Emily in Paris. Itās like they have different writers. If it werenāt for all the Paris scenes Iād say it was bad. In addition, I donāt like how they are writing Luc as a buffoon.
DH and I finished binging Mr & Mrs Smith on Prime Video. We really enjoyed it. Itās 8 episodes and stars Donald Glover and Maya Erksine.
Late to the party, but we finally got around to Season Three of the Bear. To be honest, I was disappointed. A couple stand out episodes, but a lot of it seemed like self-indulgent filler. Have to think about whether Iāll be up for Season Four.
I just finished the season, as I noted above, and the Tina episode was definitely the best. The Sugar one was pretty good too. And Marcusās eulogy for his mom early on.
If I never see another Fak brother ever again, iāll consider myself lucky.
Update: The first episode of the new season of Slow Horses (Apple TV+) has dropped
Now I have to decide if I want to rewatch the prior seasons first or dive straight in to the new one. Such a terrific cast!
Itās been a really good show.
First episode of Slow Horses distracted me from my Covid fever and body aches for 44 minutes last night. It was good, even though I figured out a major plot point ahead of reveal. The characters are so great, and the actors. This is my first season watching it as the episodes drop but I knew I wouldnāt be able to hold out and binge them all later.
Same here
This was the first time that I wish they all dropped at once. I really want to see what happens next!!!
DH and I are watching and enjoying the second season of Fisk on Netflix. Itās light and quirky after finishing the most recent season of The Bear and Mr & Mrs Smith.
I agree with all of this.
Feel better, @one_two!
We just watched the series finale of Six Feet Under. Definitely one of the best series finales I have ever watched. I cried - I plan to watch it again, alone, so I can really ugly cry.
I watched the ending twice. Thereās just a few series finales I find fantastic, and Six Feet Under is one of them. Although I still like The Americans the best. Parenthood was great, too.
