I’m enjoying Shrinking. It started out slowly but it really picks up. Harrison Ford is a card.
Ooh! I didn’t know there would be a second season! Yay!!!
I’m enjoying the 3rd season of Lincoln Lawyer. Had to rewatch the second season to refresh my memory.
We have done similar thing. (LOL - we rewatched all seasons of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel prior to watching the sixth/last season). But usually we just watch the last episode of the prior season to reacqaint ourselves with the characters, major plot points.
Good News - I discovered that Virgin River is a good show for me to watch while doing exercise shows. (Lots of seasons, I like it and husband does not.) Bad News - Tonight I finished watching the 5th/final season.
Good News
Georgie is my favorite character. I love that he stepped up to the plate when Mandy got pregnant. I love that he told her that he’d get them out of poverty…. And we know he did it. I love that he told Sheldon ( on TBBT) that he was really put in a difficult situation after Sheldon left but took on the responsibility . I find it interesting to watch him do all of this.
I did actually watch the first episode last night and I think they did a good job of showing how Georgie has matured. I don’t like how whiny Mandy is though. Wasn’t she a fairly successful tv weather reporter before they got involved? I hope they have some stories that move past the conflict with the parents.
I kept thinking the shaking an apartment / trailer when the train goes by was a plot line in some old sitcom. I thought I Love Lucy or something from that era but I can’t remember which.
It’s an old trope. The Blues Brothers comes to mind
Very old. In my head I was picturing it in black and white!
This is a blast from the past but I realized I never watched the last season of Dead To Me. Starting watching the first episode, saw there the season was going and promptly decided to not watch. Sort of a whole new (terrible) meaning to the show title!
The Man with No Name and The Profit in For A Few Dollars More (1965).
My Cousin Vinny.
I hated that show so much! Hated the characters. Hated the plot. It showed me how different people are because I couldn’t believe others actually liked it. Miserable people in miserable situations are a big no for me.
My law firm watched this on a coach bus we were taking to a retreat recently . I had forgotten how hilarious it was!
I loved it! I liked the last season too, I like to be made to feel uncomfortable and sad as well as made to laugh. Give me an emotional rollercoaster.
My husband is not interested in “Dead To Me”, so I’ve started watching it during exercise. A few episodes into it now.
Do NOT watch OA! It says 2 parts so I started bingeing. I normally don’t watch sci-fi, but it hooked me. Cliffhanger at the end of Part 2.
So I google to see when a third season is out. The show was cancelled in 2019 to the outrage of fans. They need to take it off Netflix. That was just cruel.
I missed the first week but saw last night. I don’t like the laugh track at all.
I don’t like it, but maybe because I loved So Help me Todd and this is a replacement. and really, how could a lawyer just change her name, license, years of experience and no one know? That is just a step too far.
Oh, I feel your pain! When it was cancelled I was so angry!
