H and I just started Man on the Inside this weekend and we are really liking it.
Same here!
I wonder if Tedâs characters will give lectures on structural failures at the retirement community like my dad does. ![]()
Ted character did say he was an Engineering professor ![]()
Yes, see my post above. Not just engineering, but specifically structures! He mentioned writing a book about the Golden Gate Bridge. ![]()
Somebody, Somewhere (HBO) is such a good show. Itâs too bad this is apparently the last season. I really enjoyed this weekâs Thanksgiving episode.
Oh thatâs on my list to watch.
We watched a couple of seasons of Dexter - then it just got too far fetched for us.
Juat finished Season 2 of The Diplomat. Didnât see that coming.
We binged on Diplomat Season 2 last week. Didnât like this season as much as season 1. There were parts of it that were good, but for the most part, it felt like she was not âdiplomatâ materialâŠ
Also finished watching âNobody wants thisâ. Cute show (good for destressing)- will be interesting to see where they take this next season.
We really enjoyed watching Tea Leoni in âThe Family Man,â so I googled her. I wasnât aware she was in âMadame Secretary.â DH and I started watching the show this week and really like it. Similar to âThe Diplomatâ - sheâs even told she needs a personal stylist! I can relate, ha.
The Family Man is one of my favorite movies.
Yes, itâs so good! Donât know why we hadnât already seen it.
Loved Madam Secretary and Tea Leoni. The Diplomat seems to be a âfluffierâ version of that.
I am going to add Family Man to my list.
LOL. I just googles âThe Family Manâ and wow!, most of the results were not the 2000 movie with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni. Just get the right one!
Ok, gonna put this here in addition to the Golden Bachelorette thread. ![]()
I HAVE to recommend Later Daters on Netflix. Donât think I saw anyone here recommend it?
Itâs very much the format of Love On The Spectrum if you watched that. Follows several women and men on their later in life dating journey. The woman are all very cool, smart, pretty, successful women who have a bit of âHousewivesâ vibe (the shows) but also are very true in their emotions. The men are a variety. 8 episodes, Iâm on 4 or 5.
I find it very interesting, fun and heartwarming. And largely true to life in emotions.
From the Obamaâs productions company - Michelle is an executive director
I started watching it on your recommendation. Itâs a hoot! I just started the second episode.
Definitely need to give it two episodes though I was hooked at the start. It gets better and better as you really get to know the people - and their emotions re: themselves and dating.
Iâm impressed with the women Iâve seen so far - very accomplished! More so than the men, it seems!
