I finished the first season of “Nobody Wants This” yesterday and the H and I started “Man on the Inside” last night. Both are fun, light entertainment which is what I am craving right now.

She’s also an executive producer. It was like Donna from The Bear goes really dark. I still have the last episode to go. Wasn’t into it at first but it’s gotten better.
Is anyone watching “No Good Deed” with Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow? D has recommitted it.

I just finished No Good Deed and actually liked it. Yes, it’s dark, as was the creator/writer’s other series, Dead to Me, but there are a lot of twists and turns and it has a very satisfying ending.

Maybe I will have to check it out. I liked Dead to Me more than I thought I would. My husband was not interested, so it was my exercise show last month.
This month my exercise show is Firefire Lane. I’m liking it. It has the flashback vibe of This Is Us, but the main characters are childhood best friends.

I binged all 6 episodes of Black Doves tonight – I couldn’t stop watching! I thought it was great. A lot of casting against type – like the two young women cast as a team of “triggermen” – but I thought it all worked. And I liked the fact that it wasn’t entirely serious. Also, it’s always good to see Tracey Ullman, even in a small role.

No Good Deed. I watched the first episode. Warning - there’s blood. I don’t mind some dark shows but Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow seem incongruous with dark. At least based on what I know them in and their interview personalities. I’m on the fence if I’ll continue watching. Maybe after Christmas.
I don’t mind dark but what I hated about Dead to Me is that it’s not just dark but also unhappy. I hate unhappy shows. Where everyone is miserable because that just seems like their personality, not just because of circumstances. . Not every dark show is also unhappy. Black Doves is dark but not unhappy.

I actually felt an air of personal misery on that show that I did not like.
I so agree with this. Unhappy = no. Why I didn’t watch the last season of a couple shows.

Aw man, I was loving Silo and now, after just one season, I think it’s going to be like Lost where it veers off in multiple directions and could go on forever?
