finished s2 but preferred s1 still
I finished Season 2 of The Night Agent last night. The wrapping up of the seasonās plot seemed to happen so quickly and neatly.
Iām hoping Season 2 of The Recruit will be better.
Itās so intense that I can only watch in small doses!
I keep confusing The Night Agent, The Recruit and The Rookie. Similar names and genre⦠even the actors somewhat resemble each other.

more suspense than thriller tho
We started Night Agent s2. We like it so far.
I started The Recruit Season 2. Only 6 episodes, which is short.
Iām enjoying it a lot. A relatively complex set of plot lines, so Iām pausing and replaying some scenes for dialogue and rereading subtitles.
Same. Iām only on episode 2, but they pack a lot into a single episode. It is not the type show to play in the background and not worry about missing essential content.
Finished Night Agent season 2 last night. We liked it.
Yep, itās a show that requires your complete attention, because thereās so much going on.
Iād recommend rewatching at least the final episode of Season 1, just so you know where Season 1 finished. The storyline of Season 2 picks up immediately after Season 1ās finale.
I had to rewatch the last 2-3 episodes of season 1 to orient myself for season 2.
All right, Iām addicted to āSilent Witness!ā I just finished the episode where the main character, a pathologist, leaves the show.
I really liked her. This is the 8th season. Only 20 seasons to go!
Season 14 of Death in Paradise, with its 5th inspector since the start of the run, launched tonight in the UK. I believe it will be on Britbox with weekly drops starting February 11.
Season 14 of Call the Midwife will air weekly episodes on PBS Passport starting 2/28.
According to a Britbox email, Death in Paradise starts dropping a week later, Feb. 19.
I finished Episode 5 of Season 2 and I love this season of The Recruit.
IMO, one of the characters delivers one of the best lines of all time.
One more episode to go in this season. ![]()
I started watching season 2 of Night Agent and realized I had no idea what was going on so rewatched season 1. You guy who can just rewatch the last episode and remember it all amaze me. As I rewatched Iād think āOh yes, I remember thisā but still couldnāt remember what happened next. Anyway, I really enjoyed rewatching it.
Now Iām in season 2 but there are so many subtitles with the Iranian embassy scenes that it is much slower going for me. I tend to be doing many other things while watching and often watch on a tablet so have to pay attention or rewind.
I donāt think Iāll like it as much as season 1 but do like it enough to keep going.
The third, and final, season of The Newsreader dropped today in Australia. No idea when or where this will stream in the US
Just watched the first episode of Paradise oh Hulu. Looks promising. DH decided to watch with me which guarantees that there will be no true binge and it will take us quite a while to get through as we have different TV watching schedules.
I havenāt looked for this show, but Man of Recaps on YouTube has good recaps if you donāt want to rewatch shows before a new season.
Virgin River - the show I love to hate. Everything looks just too perfect. And the town of Virgin River must stretch for miles and miles - basically every establishment is next to the river but there is not another establishment anywhere nearby. LOL. And other and Mel and doc, nobody in VR seems to actually work. And you are going to stay friends with the woman who told you that she was carrying your twin babies, but they actually werenāt yours?
The Night Agent - sorry to those who like it, and I confess I start picking on a show when I find too much fault in it, but the CIA and FBI canāt find Peter but Rose can? And Rose can continually escape from trained killers? And why does Peter have to say Roseās name in nearly every sentence? And if I am running from killers chasing me, I donāt think I am going to stay on the phone.
Back to my British cop shows! ![]()
