I know, it’s hard to wait.
When I hear about or see a new series people are talking about sometimes I will wait until season 2 drops or even if there is a season 2 before jumping in. I just hate the waiting for some serieses.
I almost always do this unless the buzz is so incredible. I don’t want to get invested in a TV series only to have it get cancelled after one season.
On the flip side, I also suffer from sunk time fallacy, and will invariably watch a series I started until the very last episode even when it gets bad in later years. I’m looking at you, Glee. Note to Ryan Murphy, I’m not excited to hear about your revival plans.
Yaaay!
Perhaps it’s time to revive the thread then. I want to hear people’s
thoughts
!
So many more speculations since then (people went to the LA library to read the scripts).
They’re in pre-prod, scripts for S2E1-2 were delivered last week and costume fittings have started.
In the meantime, we get to have Rhea Seehorn back on our screens as Amanda, in Stick, in a month.
I went back and finished Netflix’s East of Eden, and enjoyed it. Now of course I have to reread the book.
I have read a variety of opinions about Season 4 of Ted Lasso. I have enjoyed it all and thought it got stronger throughout as we got to know the team, but the final episode was (for me) absolute perfection. I love when things are tied up with a bow. I thought they had done that at the end of Season 3, but this conclusion was even better for me. I won’t say why now as I don’t want to spoil.
If there is no 5th season, having finished the last episode, I will be perfectly fine. They tied it all up nicely
I loved the TL finale. Just perfect. I hope there is another season.
Also loved it. Hit all the right notes. Really hope they continue.
I didn’t care for season 4 of Ted Lasso as much as the others, but I did love the ending.
The final 3 episodes were pretty good but I didn’t enjoy the finale as much as others did.
Call me late on this one. Finally finished MMMaisel. Loved the writing and the acting. Glad I watched it all.
I hated Zelda and you couldn’t get away from her this season. She ruined it for me
Zelda was absolutely the clinker of a storyline, which didn’t amount to anything.
Just an FYI- I noticed Netflix started charging taxes and apparently Colorado requires this. It is based on your CC zip info. My info did not include the extra 4 digits after the zip code and it was 10% instead of 4.5%. I corrected it and will see if it goes down next billing cycle like it is supposed to. Who knew?
I just started “Cupertino” (CBS/Paramount Plus). It’s from Robert and Michelle King, whose past series include “The Good Wife." Excellent!
It’ll be interesting to hear what Great British Bake Off fans thought of this week’s show where the theme was ‘what the fans decided’. VERY different Technical Bake than what we’re used to. Personally, I didn’t like it–won’t say why, lest I spew a spoiler…
I liked it
The Diplomat Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, 10/15 with all eight episodes releasing simultaneously.
Looking forward to that! I hope there’s a good recap to start because it got so convoluted I’m afraid I’ll be lost at first. But too lazy to rewatch, lol.
