Fox 25 is now saying it is actually the marathon bombers. One of the bomber is now in custody.

Link???.?.?

they are saying it’s the bombers?

Sorry, no link, it is live TV.

Boston Globe saying one in custody, one not, and yes, they are the bombing suspects.

One of the reporters on Fox 25 Boston is reporting that he heard from a source that it is. But none other channels are ready to say that.

I’m watching the ABC affiliate live on the web.

wonder how they could actually know this?

http://www.wcvb.com/news/local/metro/Gunfire-explosions-reported-around-Dexter-Street-in-Watertown/-/11971628/19812240/-/l43of5/-/index.html

not seeing/hearing anything stating that?

Police now saying two in custody

What is your source electronblue?

For what its worth - time will tell:
[Boston Marathon bombing suspect in custody, another on the loose - Metro - The Boston Globe](<a href=“Bombing suspect in custody after standoff in Watertown - The Boston Globe”>Bombing suspect in custody after standoff in Watertown - The Boston Globe)

Now Fox 25 is saying FBI is still not ready to confirm that these are the bombers but Boston Globe is reporting otherwise.

And FBI just released new pictures of the bombers that are straight on and a little clearer.

Sean Kelly and Michael Skolnik on twitter

[Boston Marathon bombing suspect in custody, another on the loose - Metro - The Boston Globe](<a href=“Bombing suspect in custody after standoff in Watertown - The Boston Globe”>Bombing suspect in custody after standoff in Watertown - The Boston Globe)

One suspect in Monday’s Boston Marathon bombings has been captured, according to an official with knowledge of the investigation. Another remains on the loose in Watertown after a firefight with police. Authorities have established a 20-block perimeter as they search for him.

but the article later states,

“We are aware of the situation, we are being involved, and we are monitoring,” said an FBI representative who requested anonymity because of not being authorized to speak publicly. The FBI source said early Friday it is “too early to speculate” on a relation to the Marathon bombing.

Boston Globe and who else that isn’t simply parroting the Globe? Where’s the independent confirmation?

simply posting information available to you too. clearly it’s hard to know what to believe, or trust so I understand the frustration. however it feels like you’re challenging those of us who are simply sharing what we’re hearing.

now skolnik is saying curly haired guy in the white hat is still at large

IMO the Globe is a decent source for this story. No other source is making the connection at this point, but it makes sense that the big local paper would have long-established contacts inside local law enforcement which no one else has.

ETA – According to MSNBC, federal agents who’ve been in Boston all week are being dispatched to Watertown, bolstering the Globe’s report.

that’s what I thought too LasMa…

it does seem like the article is presenting a statement and then a disclaimer

Supposedly the second suspect got away in the carjacked Mercedes, even though the police were shooting at him as he drove past them.
