I guess that the decision will either come out on a Thursday or a Tuesday, due to past early decision releases. So either February 1st which I think sounds too early, or February 6th which I think is more reasonable. Just speculation!

My D24 is an RD applicant, and is also now showing a financial aid counselor in her portal.

I called yesterday and they said all US citizens have one assigned. She said it isn’t the best timing, but people were calling into the office about financial aid so they made it available. Still seems a bit odd, but it does seem like everyone was assigned a financial aid counselor.

I spoke with admissions office earlier this week and was told the kids would receive notice a few days prior to release. :slight_smile:

Last few years’ EDII decision release dates:

2/2/23 (Thursday)
2/3/22 (Thursday)
2/4/21 (Thursday)
2/4/20 (Tuesday)

Every year they gave a couple of days notice of the decision release - except for 2022 when they gave only a few hours notice.

Based upon that prior history, I predicted that the decisions would be out yesterday (Thursday, 2/1/23).

Obviously, that prediction was horribly wrong … lol

Oh wow! I wasn’t expecting it to be for a while, so now I’m nervous. Haha. Thanks for the history. I’m texting my daughter now. :blush: hoping we hear something soon! I thought the financial aid counselor being added to portal was potentially good, but that seems to be a false alarm.
