Decisions are definitely coming out on a Tuesday. So I think the 6th is when we will find out. Good luck to everyone here!

Anyone know around what time they release decisions? In the past wasn’t it around 6-7PM? Lmk!

How do you know?

In the past they typically were released on Thursdays, but that Thursday would have been February 1st which is way too early. In the past, if it was not Thursday it would be Tuesday. Their saying early next week led me to guess it would most likely be Tuesday which is tomorrow. Just a guess though! For all I know it could be today, but I doubt it.

Is everyone feeling confident that today is the day for ED2 decisions? fingers crossed

I am 1000% positive it is today at 6 PM or 7 PM. They said early this week, and this is the last day that is considered early next week in my opinion. Good luck!

Anyone have any idea how many ED2 applicants there are?

Don’t have real high hopes for my daughter based upon the way this college process has gone so far!

SAT 1440
Top 5 in HS class
Good EC’s with leadership positions plus varsity athlete

Im curious to hear, why did you ED2? Did you not get into your ED1 school? Did you change your RD to ED2? Did you add BC to your list and realized ED2 was an option that timing worked better for you? Good luck today everyone.

D24 applied ED2. 3.94/4.66 1480 SAT 1/402 rank Public high school (valedictorian). Leadership in ECs. Varsity sport. 8 AP classes. 20 dual enrollment (15 at time of app) Solid essays. Our daughter wanted to go ED1, but we read some stories about net calculators being wildly incorrect at BC and we are very concerned about affordability. We wanted her to be able to have some other options if she doesn’t get in or the net price calculator is off. We made her wait to go ED2. She is very worried about not getting in, but we will have to see how things go. She has been deferred, rejected and waitlisted at her other top schools, which has been pretty devastating for her. We keep checking her app to see if there is an error, but I think it’s just that competitive. She does have a safety that will be a good fit for her, but BC is far and above her first choice. We’ve been so surprised at just how competitive this whole thing has been. I know many people are in the same boat, but she has been so discouraged and feels like 4 years of busting her tail hasn’t really been worth it so far. I’m sure that will change if she gets into BC. She’s a ball of anxiety and went to the zoo today to keep her mind off of it. haha

She is definitely not alone. I’ve seen lots of high stat kids shocked this year at how competitive it has been. Good luck, wishing her the best.

Very qualified. Good luck!

I don’t mean to get your hopes up but your application is strong. They will love ECs with leadership and Top 5. They really are a holistic application school. Hopefully you conveyed your desire to go there and connected with the school’s jesuit mission. Best of luck, it is a great place.
