I have the same issue, I have a deadline of may 1st, but I will not hear back from other schools in time. I read online that it may not look very good to ask for an extension especially if you got a merit award, bc they could just as easily take it away and give it to someone else if they don’t think you are interested enough.
The first few waves tend to me more acceptances and the latter more rejections. Also, keep in mind that space and number play a role so if you are one of the latter applications there is a chance they could have run out of space. This happened to me at another school, they filled up the class too early.

Does anyone know if you can put an enrollment deposit down at more than one school? It seems as though many of us won’t hear back from BU until after we have to deposit at other places.
I think you can (I have friends doing it for first year) BUT you have to be willing to loose whatever deposit you put down at the school you don’t end up attending
Yes. My son put down a deposit at Skidmore last year but then changed his mind. He wrote a nice letter explaining that he would not be attending and understood about losing his deposit. Surprisingly they returned our full deposit.
I also had a deadline at another school of may first but I emailed them and they said I have time we’ll after that to say yes or no. Have u guys tried emailing the other schools?
