"Breaking Bad" final season starts August 11th - SPOILER ALERT

What a tease, milkandsugar: what turn of events? and did the DA get Dutch??

^I didn’t read the book, but the description intrigued me. The correlation that Hank wants to take down Walt, he’s confident that Jesse will help him, but then there is a turn of events.

There is so much symbolism in the show, that everything is relevant. The colors, clothing, focusing on certain props, etc

I thought it was the Reagan bio by Edmund Morris. It had a white cover. Maybe it was a double reference. Reagan did get involved in the gun trade with Iran Contra.

[Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan: Edmund Morris: 9780375756450: Amazon.com: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Dutch-Memoir-Ronald-Edmund-Morris/dp/0375756450/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1378143031&sr=1-1&keywords=Dutch+Morris)

We may never know, but I’d love to know the details of Jesse’s video statement. Was it full disclosure or was it self-serving and slanted? Did he, for instance, talk about his murder of Gale?

I’m also wracking my brain about Jesse’s plan to bring down Walt. There are still the Vamonos Pest people out there. Lydia has a child she cares about.

Jesse probably couldn’t help with this, but I wonder if a forensic accountant could piece together something with the financing of the car wash, Hank’s rehab, etc. They got Al Capone (the original Scarface) on income tax, not directly on murder, corrupting officials, or bootlegging.

Walt would use the CD he made and convince everyone that Hank forced him to cook etc

I just read this in the comments section of a Breaking Bad recap on Vulture (“Pump Malfunction”):

Jesse’s statement about hitting Walt where it hurts may mean that Jesse is going to tell Walt Jr. the truth about his father.

If that is the case, then maybe it is Walt Jr. who burns the family house.

An interesting idea.

The house doesn’t burn, you could tell in the flash forward.

I know the house doesn’t burn down, but I thought it showed fire damage in the flash forward. But I could be wrong about that.

Eastcoastcrazy- I think your theory- the way to bring Walt down is through Walt JR is plausible.
Afterall, Everything Walt did, was for his family ( well in the beginning ).and the most hurtful thing would be to enlighten Walt jr.

And, hasn’t every character had a complete change -
the good / bad sides revealed except Walt jr
Marie
Skylar
Hank…

Who is left---- Walt Jr ( who appeared on the talking bad segment)

Walt Jr’s plea for His father to " stop lying and just TELL THE TRUTH" was tinged with such emotion. of course, he thought his father was ill.
The truth will be devastating, and he will be capable of burning the house !!!

I was so relieved when I saw that Hank had brought in his partner. When you think about it though, Hank was always something of a jerk, always bent the rules. He used his influence to prevent Marie from ever having to face consequences for her ongoing shoplifting habit, while he cheerfully sent a janitor off to do time for having a small amount weed in his truck.

It was still a shock to see that he seems to have no strong desire to protect Jesse - even as a crucial witness.

^^^^ agree snow dog Hank’s willingness to use Jesse as bait, was brutal and shocking.

Writing this show- complicated

[Exclusive Photos: Inside The ?Breaking Bad? Writers? Room](<a href=“TV – UPROXX”>Exclusive Photos: Inside The ‘Breaking Bad’ Writers’ Room And A Glimpse At Storylines Not Pursued – UPROXX)

Oh my - could not look while they were wasting time out there it was so clear what was coming. That conversation between Hank and Marie confirmed. Horrible. They didnt even have time to call for backup.

Okay, how am I supposed to sleep after that?

The writers are evil geniuses! If not for the last 2 minutes, I’d have been satisfied with the sound of the handcuffs clicking shut. Now I’m going to be in knots for a week.

I do have to say, this show can still crack me up. I thought the scene in the car wash was scary, but still funny - Walt Jr. all impressed with Saul, Skyler loathing him, Walt stalking in and out of the door with the baby.

What an episode. What a show. I was so glad to see some humor injected back into the show. It was missing the last few episodes. I think a lot of things are becoming clear (but I know that probably means I am in for a surprise). Walter will be off the hook if Hank and his partner are gone. Whether Jesse will survive remains to be seen. Walter will have his vengeance on the cartel I think. Maybe his house is burned as we saw it because of Jesse after all. Or else Walter Junior maybe. I think Marie will tell Walter Jr. She will spill in some way in her grief. But no matter how it plays out, one thing seems clear – it will be compelling until the very last moment in every way.

And I think that maybe for Walter, this will be the ultimate punishment for his sins – that things got out of control and that people he did care about were killed. It seemed clear he did not want Hank or Jesse hurt. Maybe living with that is the ultimate punishment for him.

This episode was epic!

Do you think that Todd and his killer family were really not going to kill them if Hank and Gomez had shown proof that they were cops? I mean, one thing that Walt made a point of telling them was that Jesse was NOT a rat, so if he wasn’t a rat would they think that Walt was being kidnapped by some other bad people? Could Jesse hear Walt yelling at the killer family to stop? What an ending!

It’s hard for me to believe that both Hank and Jesse could be gone with three episodes left in the series. I feel as if the show needs at least one of them to counter Walt until the end. It looks very bad for Hank, but maybe Jesse was able to make an escape during the mayhem (hoping, hoping …).

I wondered why Hank and Gomez wouldn’t show their badges and thought that maybe they believed the family would open fire while they went for them? Though two DEA badges would probably not contain 6-8 jackals like Todd’s bunch in any case.

AAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I can’t believe that a TELEVISION SHOW can get me so riled up. I was prepared for Jesse to die (and even if he’s not dead yet - I think he will be) but for some reason, I was not prepared for Hank to go out with him. That whole scene with Marie on the phone…

Of course Todd and his family were going to kill Steve and Hank, no matter what. The whole “show us your badges” thing was bogus; Steve, Hank and Jesses were (are?) dead the minute those goons showed up. Remember what happened when the same goons killed the previous meth cookers? It was definitely a take-no-prisoners scenario.

Do I really have to wait until next week to see what happened? I’m like frazzled - I can’t believe they’re all dead already.

The ‘show us a badge’ thing was just to get Hank or Steve to take a hand off the trigger for a second.

My guess - Hank, Jesse, and Steve are all killed on the spot (I’m pretty sure I saw Hank take a bullet. And it’s impossible to see how the three of them, with a rifle and handgun between them, plus Walt cheering them on in handcuffs, can overpower 6 or so guys with automatic weapons and bullet-proof vests out in the middle of nowhere).

Next Walt has to go underground via Saul’s connections. And of course, major family ****storm.

Walt coming back with hair, an automatic rifle in the trunk, and picking up the ricin will be to take revenge on Todd and his relatives, who were told not to come out to the desert and not to shoot.

So much for Skyler’s “what’s one more?”

My predictions only!

I think Jesse will get away. I don’t think those guys saw him right off. All they know is that Walter said not to come and they want him to have to cook. They get there and see two guys with guns. Did they really see Jesse? The way he had the door opened it seemed to me he could maybe get away and hide behind a rock. I think it’s too soon for Jesse to die and I don’t think VG would kill him off this early. I think it’s possible that Walter might even save Jesse. Maybe after Hank and Gomez are shot there is a pause in the shooting and right as they are going to kill Jesse Walter has time to say he will refuse to cook if they do. He still has that over them. I think he will save Jesse, adding another layer to their complex relationship. I hope so.
