Sorry for the delay in responding. The Facebook page is called Brockman Scholars of Texas A&M. So far there are 6 who have received notice on there. We are an overlap as may be the others.
I keep checking back hoping your wait is over and that everyone got through. I think there were about 15 on here who had interviewed so I’m really hoping…

I would not rule out the weekend. When you think about it, the College Station trip for the new scholars is in twenty days. Assuming they give everyone a week to decide, we are cutting it kind of close. If anyone declines, I would think they would want to give the next person on the list adequate notice so all can make it to College Station.
So do we think there is possibly even a second interview anymore, or just acceptance offers that will be coming in the next few days and the College Station weekend will be just a welcome event for the scholars?

Do rejections come out at the same time as acceptances?
Haven’t heard anything here either.
My concern is that offers went out a week ago when they told me they would and rejections come out this week when JudeStehling was told we would hear back. I sure hope I’m wrong because that would mean none of our children were awarded the scholarship. Still praying for good news.
I dont think so because other than the early acceptances, no one has received anything from Brockman. Im sure they would have either updated their websites or we would have heard at least one person say that they were accepted.
I may be wrong and we might already be a part of the rejection pool.
I am so hopeful that you are correct. Just wish they would let us know. The awards weekend is our spring break so can’t schedule anything until we know. Plus we are out of state so if he doesn’t get the scholarship we have to decide on plan B for where he’s going to college. But I’m sure you are all in similar situations. Trying to be patient.
I think the odds are low that they sent out acceptance notifications and NO ONE on here got one. They cut out a step and developed a new decision making process. It makes sense that would take longer than narrowing it down to 100 finalists. Also, my computer froze and when I signed back in, I accidentally clicked on last years thread . Seems like the accept and regret letters were being announced on the same day which was March 17th. Don’t know when the College Station finalist weekend was last year, though.
I am still pretty optimistic. Like everyone here, I think my daughter is amazing, and I have really high hopes. Keep the faith!
