Accepted into CAS
1280 SAT
3.8 W GPA
Basically, no aid though, going to try and appeal.
DS accepted- 4.0/5.1 GPA, 1510/35 SAT/ACT, BioMedical Engineering, Kilachand Honors.
@hawambe same. I’m surprised I received no merit scholarship whatsoever after getting a significant amount from other schools of a similar caliber. But also idk if I can just call and ask for aid or it that seems rude.
Rejected for COM. 33 act superscore,
how do you see how much financial aid you got?
@maya2727 You can call and ask if there was a mistake. You cannot "ask’ for merit aid.
hi guys, do you know if i applied to college of general studies and got in, if I could transfer over to another college my freshmen year? I want to go into college of engineering.
@sagra if you are admitted to CGS you MUST complete the full two year CGS program before transferring.
Daughter rejected for communications.
1210 SAT/ 3.8 uw 4.6 w
Strong ECs and lots of academic honors
Dad is a an alum and that is referenced in the letter that it was hard to say no. She is encouraged to go somewhere and have two strong semesters and transfer in ( though not guaranteed). Looks to me like after reading the acceptances, rejections, and wait lists that the big factor is test scores. Daughters are very low though her gpa is stronger than some who were accepted. Also the communications program is very competitive.
Congratulations to all accepted!! Best of luck to those who were not…there is a great fit out there for everyone!
@TomSrOfBoston There is no way I can transfer over to college of engineering now?
Where did you see the merit scholarship posted? Under financial aid or other area?
rejected. what a disappointment :((
Accepted to CAS w/ Kilachand! 34 ACT, 4.2 GPA along with a very nice rejection for the Trustee Scholarship. Congrats to all accepted!
@sagra No, the entire CGS program must be completed.
Where did it say you didn’t get the Trustee, if you don’t mind saying?
Does anyone else have the “Your scholarship decision is not available online” message? What does it mean?
Waitlisted with 1510 sat as an international student, trying to be positive but a bit surprised if im honest
If anyone in this thread received the Trustee or Presidential…would you mind posting your stats?
Just wondering where my S was lacking. Not referring to Financial Aid…just the Merit Scholarships. At $70K it will be difficult to attend. AND…CONGRATULATIONS to those who received these prestigious scholarships!
Has anyone heard what the acceptance rate was?
accepted to COM but with no scholarship and basically no financial aid
