Do OOS applicant decisions come out later? It still says “Thank you…”. Is it rolling admissions?
@jj1999. Don’t appeal your waitlisting. Instead write a very solid letter expressing somewhat disappointment followed by explaining that you’re still very much convinced that BU is the school for you!

@Anthony185 Congrats on your son’s result; you should treat guaranteed transfer as an acceptance. Transfer admissions to BU are also very competitive; I am a senior at BU and an RA in a dorm where I have residents who transferred from BC, U of R, and Emory (and did well at those schools). A senior friend of mine was admitted as a senior with 0 financial aid, but he transferred in two years later and received 3/4 cost of attendance. Good luck with your decision and PM me if you have any further questions!

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!
Was transferring mentioned in everyone’s- who was not accepted- letter? It wasn’t in mine
ACCEPTED! 1400 SAT 3.7 uwGPA 4.2 wGPA Lots of ECs and Recommendations were also solid imo. Applied to CAS
hang in there to those on the waitlist as quite a few of us will turn down the acceptance because BU was so stingy with financial aid. Not worth it to pay $70k per year when most kids have very good other options on the table with aid included. Very disappointed in their lack of aid offered - we got nothing.
Agh, rejected.
i guess i’ll be going somewhere else for a year before BU. hopefully UCI doesn’t disappoint
