BU RD Class of 2022

Just wondering I saw there was a spring/fall transfer option. So you could apply in November to attend in January. I wanted to know if this option was actually true and if everyone could do this cause on the rejection it said after two semesters however this says after one full semester

I only got around 15k in aid from BU while NEU gave me 35k ish. So sad…

BU covered everything for me

@Oreo30, Amen to that. DD is in CAS but no Kilachand or Trustee scholarship. BU ain’t MIT/UChicago/Caltech or an IVY to spend 100% EFC. Lack of scholarship is a huge negative. Good luck to waitlisted students.

accepted

@jj1999 I agree with the other comment. Don’t make rash appeals. Find out who the correct contact person is and write a letter expressing your strong interest and perhaps a few paragraphs about why BU (with specifics) and what you can contribute to the BU community. Best to you.

I agree with @Holistic2 re $$$

TO THOSE WHO RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIP

Did you apply for scholarship or it was automatically awarded? Thanks!

Any international applicants who have been awarded the trustee scholarship or the presidential scholarship today?

@nicole61666 I got into that as well! I’m debating on doing it or not. Are you going to do it? And what college did you apply for?

Guaranteed transfer for 2019.

from NY
GPA (W): 95.2
SAT: 1460
Percentile: Top 10%
loaded with extra-curics, etc.
Special circumstances caused 9th/10th grade to be very weak, significant increase in 11th/12th grade performance.

@kawakuri Thanks. Your academic stats are not dissimilar to my D’s; it makes no sense to me why so many well qualified, extremely accomplished, IN-STATE kids of taxpayers, we denied. Very aggravating!!!

Well, congrats on BU!! CA’s loss is MA’s gain!
