@JakefromStateFarm, no hate what do ever. Just stating a truth. Selectivity measures one thing, popularity. I’m sure MfgEs from Poly are both well trained and in high demand.
All the people asking about biological sciences- I was waitlisted on March 7th!

There have been a couple of acceptances for civil engineering @49gold and at least one waitlist. Since they have already posted both it is highly unlikely that there will be more. Cal Poly does not typically admit in waves to the same major.
DS, In-state
stats posted already in previous post
aerospace engineering . . . still waiting for any news
Just let him know already.
BTW, it’s pi day tomorrow!
@madiiwi: Yes several admits and waitlisted applicants. Use the magnifying glass on the right of this thread and type in computer science. It will give you list of all responses with this key word and you can go through each reply for the information you are looking for.
My son was admitted to Computer Science last week. 4.09 weighted GPA, 3.92 Cal Poly GPA. (His Cal Poly GPA was a little lower due to his dual enrollment classes were not weighted under the Cal Poly GPA.) ACT 34. He had impressive computer and engineering-related extracurriculars that probably raised his MCA score. I’m seeing other applicants on here with higher stats who were rejected or waitlisted. It’s a crazy admission year, for sure.
The MCA point system also gives extra points to 5 yrs English, 4yrs Lang., etc.–this needs to be considered when comparing who is being offered acceptances.
