Pretty sure we got the tax money. Pretty sure the problem is that tuition relief is not a priority for the powers that be. We parents should be voicing our displeasure at this state of affairs.

With the exception of higher education these numbers outpace inflation and population growth by a substantial margin. We gotta shortage of good prioritization; not revenue.

@ElGuiri My son received the invite to Honors today as well. I didn’t think it went out to all admits as I thought it was limited to some degree…but really uncertain. Unsure if he is interested in doing it but we will need to find out more.

Rejected with a 1560 GPA?! That is crazy. CSU and UCs need to stop putting so much focus on GPA. I got a 3.4 at one high school and switched and got a 4.5 with no change in work ethic. GPA is so dependent on various factors while everyone is on a even playing ground with the SAT.
