Also, UCLA is excellent for civil engineering… just ask my husband. 
I have not heard back from cal poly yet but on my portal it is allowing me into the cs you site and shows my name and then @ calpoly. I can go into every aspect of the site including one drive and newsfeed. Does this mean anything or is it just glitching? It allowed me in like this before any results came out but then showed an error screen the next day.
Anyone applying to the Honors Program? S24 did not get an email. I just got a random text reminder application is due by midnight PST tonight. Anyone interested, will need to get on the portal and submit their application. there are two 250 word essays.

It won’t let us into the portal. Weird. Using same username and password but getting “username and password error”. Huh. Bad sign. Anyone else having issues? What portal address are you using? Connect.calpoly.edu?
Username - first initial and last name @calpoly.edu with prior password???

Same here for my D24… she got an email “reaminder” today that she has been invited to apply for the honors program and the application is due today…. but this is the first she’s heard of it

I assume the admissions for students like myself who haven’t been contacted yet will take place sometime tomorrow. Make sure you or your students check your portals throughout the day.
It’s been in the portal, but it’s on the status update page not the main student center - and it showed up hours after the initial decision post.

The point was two fold:
- anyone interested in Honors program to make sure they apply.
- It would have been nice to be informed that was an open invitation to apply. I don’t recall it was.
I don’t believe it is an open invitation. At least the website says that application is invite only. But who knows!

Yeah, according to this website, Apply - University Honors Program - Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
If you are an incoming first-time freshman, application to the Honors Program is BY INVITATION ONLY. If you are selected to apply you will receive an invitation from Cal Poly Admissions in mid to late March. If you do not receive an invitation you will have the opportunity at the end of your first year to apply as a continuing student.
So, the invitation should arrive this time, not the deadline.
Oh well. Didn’t know S24 got invited.

Yes, thank you. She hadn’t gone back into the portal after she was accepted. All good, she did the 2 short essays so we’ll see.

Should we expect to hear back today on admissions?
I just got this response from admissions:
Thanks for checking in. Admissions decisions are ongoing, and students will receive a decision by April 1st. When there has been a status update an email notification will be sent prompting the student to log into the portal.
Now what that admissions decisions are at this stage, I don’t know, but hoping for the best
Still waiting for a response for D24 at SLO and Berkley with Architecture major. Fingers crossed. At this point we just want to know so we can move on and plan for the fall.

D24 still waiting too. We are assuming a denial since I know a few portfolio-based Art & Design acceptances have already been released. I’ve developed a real affinity for universities that release all their decisions at once.

Has anyone gotten in for Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration if so what are your stats? I am still waiting to hear back…
