Just double checking⊠and a little hopeful. Is this what the portal should look like if youâre on the waitlist? Does the green checkmark mean itâs confirmed? And what does submit new and display mean? Kind of cryptic. Planning on committing to another university on Tuesday. The waiting is hard.
I canât imagine any schools will start pulling from waitlists until after the May 15 decision deadline. Then once a school knows its yield, it will pull from the waitlist to fill any gaps (majors, etc.).

UCI has already admitted a few engineering students off of the waitlist and UCSB already admitted some L&S off of their waitlist.

just fyi and not the news anyone wants to hear - a very close friend of mine has worked at SLO nearly 20 yrs and confirmed last year they admitted very few from their waitlist -last adds in June - then waited until mid July to announce they were closing the wait list. I think if you have other great school options at this point, perhaps it may not be worth waiting on SLO.

Does anyone know if SLO has taken anyone off the waitlist yet, cause I think deadline to enroll has passed
I have not seen any waitlist admits. Most were admitted last year on July 15 just before closing the waitlist.

Daughter just found out her appeal was not accepted. Apparently they made the decision on April 8th but had forgotten to email until we asked last week. Nice letter but basically explained there were only 59 spaces available for her major.

has anyone else waitlisted gotten a box thats telling them to submit their sat score on the admissions page?
I see a status update on the application status page - Awaiting SAT Revised Score Report - it says it posted on 3/27/2024. Is that what youâre seeing?
Have not seen that on portal, but just saw on Reddit that someone got off waitlist for physics. Not sure if itâs realâŠ

just asked my friend and she said he got an email today. Doesnât seem like a lot of movement so sure am happy for him!!

was her portal updated? i assume it was an email to alert her to a change in her portal? congratulations!
Yes, it was an email that her status was updated. Portal shows acceptance and request for transcript/grades.
