I overheard from a friend who toured Cal Poly last weekend that they said they’d release all decisions a week before April. I don’t know if that’s true, mind you, but I do wish there was some clarity.
If they do it will be the latest they’ve released decisions in the past 5 years. Not saying it couldn’t happen, though

The notes that I wrote down from previous year’s threads (first day of acceptances, not the only day, mind you; also not 100% sure these are correct 
) for SLO were
2020: 3/3 (Tues)
2021: 2/23 (Sat)
2022: 3/10 (Thurs)
2023: 3/10 (Fri)
2024: 3/11 (Mon)

Hey, the dates have been slowly trending up later and later. Maybe this year it’ll either be today, the 11th, or tomorrow, the 12th. Who knows? Maybe they will do a 2021 to 2022 and make it come out 18 days after last year, but who knows? I’m keeping today and tomorrow on my radar. After that, I’m calling fair game on any day at this point. I’ll check today and tomorrow at 11:30 AM, 3:30 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm and then I’m just gonna give up on manual checks and just wait for the e-mail…
Does anybody know if taking AP English Lit or Lang (I took both) counts as that extra 5 years of english SLO wants? I did not think it did but people online are saying it does?

No, I took AP Lit my junior year and am currently taking AP Lang!
My Sophomore and Freshman years I took Honors English
On the Cal State Application, it would actually calculate for you how many English classes you’ve taken. Assuming you took Honors English 9, Honors English 10, Honors English 11 and AP Language in junior year, and AP Lit in senior year, then that would count as 5. But if instead of Honors English 11 you took AP Language, then that would count as 4 total.
If you took 1 English class each year for 4 years that is 4 years of English. To get to the recommended 5 years of English for SLO, you would need to either double up 1 year, take another HS course during the summer or take a 1 semester DE/CC CSU transferable English course.
I just called the SLO Admissions office. The AO I spoke with said that they haven’t released any decisions yet but that they will soon. She said to keep checking the portal everyday. She didn’t know for sure but said it should be this week or early next week. Not a lot of help, I know but I thought I’d share her answer.
Everyone I’ve spoken with on the topic said that they release by major. She said that’s not true. She said that they release randomly and the timing for the release (sooner or later) doesn’t mean anything. So frustrating though. I wish they’d release everything all at once.
