It has been several years since I had access to the SLO student portal but my kids were California residents and I did not see an assigned AO listed in the portal.
Are you an Out of state or International applicant? I only see Regional assigned AO’s listed specifically for OOS and International students on the SLO website: Contact Admissions | Cal Poly

Just twiddling out thumbs waiting for a decision. I did notice that SLO Days are on the website for the summer. Of course my OOS kid will be away in the mountains as a camp counselor for all of them! So would miss out on that experience. If accepted, will have to do the virtual one. Has anyone done this and how was it? Good luck to all waiting. It’s almost March.

yeah, when you’re getting older (generalized for those with college-age kids), it’s a shame to be hoping for time to pass while waiting for CA schools, particularly when most OOS Early Action notified sometime between October and January, with only a couple of stragglers coming in Feb. When it’s all said and done, we’ll wish it had gone slower-

Thank you for this. Do you know if the decision timeline from 2024 applied to transfer applicants as well?
Transfer decisions usually start after Freshman decisions are completed.
In the admissions portal under “Personal Info” does anyone have a “Poly Empl ID” assigned? I’m not sure if that’s assigned to all applicants or is a possible sign of admission.
My son has one too.
That’s assigned to all applicants.

My D25 just showed me a change in her admissions portal. There is now an application checklist below the application details section. It is for math placement and there is a link to survey for seeing what math you qualify for and how it relates to the first math class for your major. Is this on everyone’s portal now?
