The likelihood is reduced but always possible my friend. Don’t give up hope but have a backup plan. :crossed_fingers: :rainbow:

I have not seen Forestry anywhere. My son is also Forestry

admissions said it was not by major - it’s a mystery!

Has your daughter gotten any feedback about the Honors Program and lack of essay input form? My son reached out via email but he hasn’t heard back from them yet.

I created the list because so many people are asking about particular majors. Hopefully it will cut back on those posts.

Quite shocked at my S25’s acceptance! He’s already committed to another school but wanted to post anyway to share his lower than typically admitted stats. I’m also certain he has lower than admitted stats for his high school as well.

Decision: Accepted on Friday 3/14
Major: English
SLO GPA 3.6 UW/3.63W (9-11th grade)
Number of UC approved Honors/AP/IB or DE courses: 3 (1 - 11th, 2 - 12th)
In-State/OOS/International: In State (Bay Area/Santa Clara County - private HS)

EC hours and with leadership or job related: I don’t remember total hours. 4 years Symphonic band (section leader this year), Eagle Scout with year of Senior Patrol Leader, 1 school club had exec team leadership, summer job at Parks and Rec dept

Number of years for the following courses (9th - 12th):
English: 4
Math: 4 (taking Calculus as senior, highest possible math available to him)
Science: 3
Foreign Language: 3
Social Science/History: 4
Visual/Performing Arts: 4

My daughter’s friend was admitted for this major (ITP) last Friday.

No, she hasn’t heard anything back yet. Since three students have experienced the same thing, it may be a new process? Perhaps an essay will be required later?

Added that major to @lkg4answers list.

Let me know as well if you hear back!

To add to the List of Admitted Majors (even though we don’t think admission was rolled out by major, we all love a good list!):
Decision: Accepted on Friday 3/14
Major: Food Science
SLO GPA 4.08W (9-11th grade)
Number of UC approved Honors/AP/IB or DE courses: 18 semesters, including senior year
Five or six years of math, varsity sports, leadership, all that. North Cal.
Very excited!

I have a daughter at SLO. 2nd year housing is among the most expensive of any CSU. It is also very difficult to get into. There are entire threads on our CP Parent FB page devoted to this topic. Don’t get me wrong it is an amazing school. Housing just isn’t amazing.

It is absolutely not.
