According to the info posted by GumbyMom, last year they started admitting waitlist 5/22 so if they are following the same timeline it would be this coming Wednesday.

I keep hearing about UCā€™s admitting waitlisted students. Is Cal Poly just not letting anyone off their waitlist? I am in their parent group and have not seen any movement. This seems unusualā€¦

I donā€™t have the answer to your question and share your sentiment of frustration. Per the Gumbymom post last year there was some waitlist movement the first Monday of June. Trying to keep hope alive!

Here are the waitlist admit timelines for the last 3 years.

2024 Waitlist: May 22 rare admits. Admit wave June 4. Rare admit June 15. Few admits June 28, July 2, July 8, July 12, July 15. Denials on July 15.
A few appeals approved August 6.

2023: Waitlist admits started near the end of April and a few in June. Waitlist closed July 15, 2023.

2022 Waitlist: 1 reported admit on April 14, 2023. Another admit reported April 25 for Industrial Eng. Neither confirmed. Few admits (Math/CS/Material Engineering) on July 15th and rest were rejections.

The waitlist admits vary greatly from year to year and SLO could be waiting for some of the UCā€™s to clear their waitlist before proceeding in admitting more students but I cannot say for certain why they have not admitted many off the waitlist as of yet.
