My daughter got pulled off the waitlist for business major today! She is excited!

Hi last night my daughter friend was admitted at 5:00pm to Cal Poly . Probably 30 minutes after she had accepted UCSB and paid the deposit. There wasn’t an email so just checked the portal and it said admitted . My
Son checked his and it still says waitlisted. But at least there is some movement. Just wanted to share this so people are checking .

My son is WL for computer science at CPSLO. Committed to UCSC. My daughter is a math major at CP SLO. Would love to get them together for one year!

Hi, I am on the waitlist for graphic comm ( a major with 75 spots) and I have already heard of someone who got off the waitlist for this major , so is it even worth waiting because don’t they do each major in a wave? Thanks

They do not do each major in a wave and if some of the waitlisted Graphic Comm admits decline, then there are still spots that will be open in the next round.
