As far as I know, the honors program doesn’t reject anyone; it just places applicants on a waitlist. My daughter was in the honors program, and only 1–2 students per major were selected.
My daughter’s friends who applied didn’t get waitlisted or admitted–but my daughter has decided not to attend SLO, sadly.
