My major is biochemistry and I have a 4.0 so let’s hope
I’m still Biological Sciences (Pre-Med actually); I just play in the Symphony for fun, and to stay involved in music. I love most things about Poly. The campus is awesome, and the students here are really friendly. Most of my professors have been good, but there are a few that aren’t. You just have to learn their quirks and plug along. Like most transfers I live near the top of Cerro Vista, and I absolutely HATE walking up the mountain just to get back to my apartment each day! That plus the fact that there is no resident parking near Cerro and every time I want to go somewhere I have to walk down to the parking lot at PCV and then back up. Did I mention the mountain? My schedule is pretty difficult, and I need the grades for Med. School, so I don’t have a lot of free time, but that is my choice. Hopefully it will pay off soon.

Financial Aid package is located on your Portal & will be coming out in about 1 week:
click Money Matters tab.
On the right-margin, click View My Financial Aid
Under Aid Year, click 2025
It’ll give you a breakdown, itemized list of your Financial Aid, and if you were selected as a Cal Poly Scholar.
(If you don’t see View My Financial Aid in the right margin, then it hasn’t been released yet)

If you don’t mind me asking, gpa/in-state/local?
Has anyone seen transfer acceptances for any local students? I do not see any listed in this thread (or the freshman admit thread).
I saw some local transfers from Cuesta get an acceptance yesterday on Reddit.

Im currently a little stressed out as I have had a couple friends who’ve gotten accepted already in my same major as a transfer. Im a business admin major with a 4.0 GPA, work hours and volunteer, completed all required courses as structured my community college around Cal Poly. Im wondering if there is more than one chance for transfers to hear back or if it’s just one day.
In 2022, there was a 2nd wave & in 2020 during COVID lockdowns was there a 2nd & 3rd wave of acceptances.
If you scroll up to message #19, I made a list of the dates for acceptances each year going back to 2020.
I don’t know if there will be a 2nd wave this year but there’s always the possibility due to 2020 and 2022.
Obviously, with a 4.0 GPA means your Golden Four are all A, A, A, A and so are your courses for bus. major.
Getting accepted to Cal Poly is more like lottery picking instead of consistency. Nobody really knows!
Hasn’t there already been 2 waves though? I’ve seen acceptances from march 11th and march 13th this year
