Does anyone still have the banner but not the upload option with “Waitlist Update”?
If someone have that, it means we are likely waitlisted

Congrats, I think that indicates you are accepted (if the astrology from the 2028 portal was right)
It’s strange they haven’t closed the banner loophole - they are making it so obvious.
I mean, the “waitlist update” is way too obvious it feels unreal. I really hope it’s not real.
all sorts of colleges have the waitlist glitch. Yale used to have “accept waitlist” or something in the portal before you open the decision.
I doubt it, I know multiple others with the banner. Maybe it’ll disappear overnight, or it’s the opposite this round (banner = reject)
And do people with those end up getting in or do they get waitlisted/rejected? I’m sorry I’m not very experienced with this.
historically banner = accept
but banner has to stay until the end (until decisions are released), so we’ll have to wait and see
I still have my banner, but under the banner in the document upload section, it have a “Waitlist Update”. I don’t know if there’s anyone who currently still have the banner, don’t have the “Waitlist Update” in the document upload section. If that’s the case, the astrology is:
No Banner - Rejected
With Banner until very end, but have “Waitlist Update” in the document upload - Waitlisted
With Banner until very end, with no document upload - Accepted
Does anyone have this Banner “Awaiting Decision”

Christ they are not subtle with it at all I didn’t get it and I’m basically rejected (no banner etc) so I’m pretty sure it’s because you’re in
we’ll see, if I get rejected now thats just playing
Do you mind checking your portal, if you have the banner but no waitlist update, it’s most likely you are in

This one comes from ugadmits@caltech.edu, while previous emails from Caltech Admissions comes from ugadmissions@caltech.edu. Can you confirm?
Also, I don’t see a link to a discord server in the email.
