Case Western Reserve Class of 2029 Official Thread

Yeah but the thing is if they don’t respond would there be a point in sending it? There would be no guarantee that they read it

Sometimes all you can do about an issue is do what is within your control.

If this is your top choice, it won’t take that long to write an LOCI to let them know if your continued interest and maybe more things that interest you about Case.

You won’t regret writing one, but you may regret not writing one.

Do what is within your control.

Okay I am definitely writing one, but would sending it to my AO and the admissions office be a better idea?

Send to both

Guys, where and how can I check my need-based aid? Can someone please help me?

I submitted my LOCI a few days ago and I have been singing up for the events and they have made me think that CWRU is definitely my top choice. My question is, is there anything more I can do to improve my chances? I cannot take a campus tour because of financial constraint. Everyone I asked kept on saying the same thing about going on a campus tour, but since that is out of the question, I want to show more interest, and I want some other ways to do so. What are some other things I can do?

Hello,
Our DD has been accepted for CWRU Madrid for Fall 25 and moving to CWRU in Spring 26. Initially she had been informed that she is on the Waiting List for Fall 25. Is she still able to keep her Fall 25 waiting list or has she been taken off now that she has been admitted to Spring 26.
Thanks

I’d like to know the same thing.

I found a CWRU app called “CWRU Guides” and it looks like the itinerary for the visit days. ‎Case Western Reserve Guides on the App Store

in the Waitlist FAQ post, there was a letter from Case in 2019 that included:
" As a spring admit, you would join the University in January of 2020 as a first-year student. Housing is guaranteed. During the fall, you are free to pursue a variety of options, such as work, travel, internships, community service, or taking courses as a non-matriculated (non-degree) student at another college or university.

We will ask you to accept your offer of admission for the spring of 2020 by May 5, 2019. Accepting your offer would not remove you from consideration for the fall should space become available, but it will secure your place at Case Western Reserve starting next January."

Not sure if this is still the case.

Why not ask your admissions counselor?

My son was also admitted off WL for spring with option of Madrid. If you click through the links in the letter you could decline Spring admission and opt to remain on WL for Fall admission.

Thank you @Tazmom
