You have W&L dome by tomorrow ??and the Johnson essay written ??

You know - no matter what -be the best you and life will be fine. Unfortunately things have cost.

It’s just how it is. And not everyone can pay. It stinks but it’s what many have to deal with.

  1. finishing up (parents dont want me to apply but im doing it and just paying the fee myself)
  2. Yeah, its reality. Kind of blew up on my face but I think I will be fine.

You can reach out and ask if they have a code. I remember they sent us one but we were on their list. It’s a lot to spend yourself. If you somehow got in, would your parents not let you go ? You don’t want family issues.

No matter - Cc, Rutgers, or elsewhere, your future can be bright.

Yeah I have no problem with Rutgers, I think people consider it a decent school.

I will reach out, but if I did get the scholarship then they might let me go. If not, they wouldn’t want me to go.

Any school you can afford is decent.

You have to get past this part - I think people consider it a decent school.

What other people think is irrelevant.

And some schools are strong but not the right fit.

Find the right place for @Kingo and not Kingo’s friends or friend’s parents.

Took the SAT, think I did better. I’m going to decide this weekend if I want to apply any other unis (like Princeton) or not.

Don’t forget, you’re only going to one.

If the NPC shows positively, you can apply to more. Even if the score doesn’t come back what you think - in the end, whether you apply to 8 or 28, you’re only going to one - so other than time and money, it’s not a huge deal.

So take your shot if you want to. It’s not going to hurt.

Which SUNYs, if any, did you apply?

Binghamton (I got in) and Stony Brook

Can you complete this list with just the college’s name (to make it quicker for you! And you can just copy paste the update as we move through December, January…:hugs:)

  • got in& scholarship makes it affordable
  • got in, waiting for financial aid package
  • got in but unaffordable
  • waiting for decision
  • sent in general application, working on supplement/special app
  • still working on it
  • considering applying

did it come with $ or not yet ? Congrats - time school.

Ty! It didn’t give me a package yet, I submitted FAFSA for that a long time ago though.

If you receive any money it would likely be merit, not need.

Yeah at a public, you won’t get need. Your parents make too much but people say they are aggressive merit wise. Enough so ? No idea.

Are your parents open to several hours away ?

Yeah if its cheaper they will be fine with that.

You gonna add a really wealthy reach now ? Do the Princeton NPC.

Wealthy Reach? Its more like a safety

But on a serious note, yes I’m doing the NPC and prob applying. Maybe I apply to a more “realistic” reach.

No recent decisions, stony brook is kind of stalling.
