Chance Me For A Girlfriend, Please!

Also legacy matters. Did you dad or mom also attend? Do u have any siblings attneding?
Also does your family regulary donate money?

151carabou (easy there Tech N9ne), that’s pretty insensitive considering what happened when I resurrected Anne Frank.
Both my parents have attended some campuses, does this increase my odds?

With this recent “recession” my family’s billion dollar trust fund has evaporated. Will my chances be even worse now that I need to apply for financial aid?

^absolutely, a lot of campuses demand a huge amount of money to attend due to their constant upgrading of infrastructure. most of your campuses (the more prestigious ones, at least) just became high reaches. good luck winning the lottery.

So my slim odds have become near impossible odds because I’m middle class? Upgraded infrastructure?

guitarman89 you just made my day

You know, they constantly require a great flow of cash to support their aesthetics program (which, quite unsurprisingly, is their only program that deserves attention) and to repaint the buildings and pave the concrete nonstop throughout the year. All other programs, such as those of the math, science, and even english departments fall short of world standards.

slogblah, don’t encourage guitarman89! He really hurt my rep with that your hand=super safety comment…
JteH-I was also under the impression that the finest campuses lack the intellects, but also demand the most payment.

I can’t believe this thread has become this popular. 87 posts! But… I still haven’t got an useful advice or input on my chances.

WOW almost 100 posts…

Are my chances with women dead? Or is it just this thread? (See I can rhyme and rap too ladies)

Bump bump bump

This thread continues to keep me from starting my commonapp essay…

100 comments and I might be the greatest CCer ever.

When are the deadlines ?

You could consider applying to foreign campuses–like those in Greece, Russia, or France, but just remember that getting in those places involve not only your statistics, interests, and enthusiasm, but also requires foreign relations expertise.

I find that in the long run, you are much more likely to have passport control problems when you apply to such places and therefore–as a new student–you should avoid such campuses until you have first attended more well-known domestic campuses and completed the necessary prerequisites. Then you can apply as a transfer student if you interests lie in gaining such foreign “experience”.

This will also allow you to do the so-called “Spanish fly” trip that takes you “around the world”.

Just avoid Limerick and Nantucket. I find that combining those two destinations invariably results in one reciting poems that creates misunderstandings regarding your intentions.

P.S. As far as deadlines, I find that applying by February 14th, especially if you send in a minor gratuity with your application, tremendously increases one’s chances.

What a relief to see someone has a sense of humor on here! That made me crack up… haha, I love it. Thank you.

Zomg chance me!

Blue eyes, brown hair
6’1" 185lbs 7% bodyfat
225lb bench press, 965lb leg press
5:59 mile

This is hilarious…

I dunno about Britney Spears. She might be easier to get into but come graduation time, the percentage of students who matriculate happy is the lowest in the country. Also, your resume will be a little bit tarnished and you’ll have to explain to future employers why you already have massive debt for the rest of your life in the form of child care payments and regular doctors appointments.

Extreme lolz.
